  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

any other aviation lovers here?

I've got a DC-3/C-47 fetish

there's a C-47 currently 0.5 miles away from my house.

I've been doing the show "Mayday" for Disco for years...
I have no license... but I have the bug.

Motorcycles have to do. And they are a darn site cheaper.

Scott I really hope you or someone shoots a documentary on the CSAR. It would be an amazing miniseries to follow the pilots, doctors, soldiers and support personnel.

If I was independantly wealthy I would just return self-funded to film. I came close to being able to convince the right folks on the inside but it just never gained enough traction. The closest documentary that will be out is from the Dane's perspective in Afghanistan called "Armadillo" and you can actually see my helicopter in the trailer at 1:55 and 2:14.

CSAR is truly an amazing mission, and there is enough happening daily to fill a film/miniseries of epic proportions. I have a little more of my own CSAR footage from last year in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V39S8UexaIY and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djxPp3iTILE

One of my other favorite clips of airshow aviation was shot by Philip Bloom: http://www.vimeo.com/1343943

I went to Oshkosh Airshow one year...really cool.
I flew in with a group from Texas in a B-24....
Women really loved the B-24.
