  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

as soon as you typed "normal" a light should of went off. We don't do very many normal things around here.

Our Black cal is much more than just a simple offset... which is what you want, because god knows you don't want to either have different noise levels throughout the day, or need to remember to re-calibrate after each shot.

Jarred, unless you provide more information that what exactly "un-normal" parameters you are calculating, it is difficult to independently confirm that things should really take that long as it is taking Red to do it.

Yup.. i would hurry if i were you. If you want something quick, throwing eggs at your neighbors windows in 120fps is always instant gratification.

Why don't you ask us for the source code to independently verify everything we do. What planet are you from?

It's 2:20 a.m. here in Germany and you just forced me to stay up and wait for the next build... :pinch:

In about 7 hours I'll be at a local rentals "Red Day" and hopefully I can bring them a SD-card that's still warm with the new build :)

remember.. BETA build. probably not something you wanna show without some adult supervision nearby.

Deanan, I am sorry if I have transgressed any boundaries here. I know that Red's internals are Red intellectual property, and I have no right to them.

Explain to me how the root folder works?

Also the anamorphic modes. I just gave my CF card and reader to the editor to download so I can't load it on to my camera to answer these questions myself. Does is just squeeze 16x9 to 2:35?
