Okay seriously.

Does anyone know of any existing options or accessories for hands-free helmet, head or shoulder mounting of the RED EVF for outdoor stedicam or jib situations where it would be too bright to monitor effectively with an LCD.

I'm thinking something with a flexible arm that would allow you to position the EVF in front of your eye, leave your hands free and allow you to move it away from your eye quickly and easily when necessary.

All ideas and advice appreciated. I already have a 10' EVF cable btw.

But I only need to helmet or shoulder mount the EVF, not the entire camera.

Just get a decent LCD. I've operated Jib and steadicam at noon in the desert and not had a problem viewing my monitor.

Get anything made by transvideo and you will be fine.
