This is my first post. I'm a longtime DSLR guru who recently had the pleasure of using the Red One on a big budget industrial. Needless to say I'm sold. What a pleasure to work with the R3d files and footage in Premiere cs5. I signed up on Reduser to start ingesting information as I'll be looking into purchasing an Epic or Redone.

In the DSLR world, there are a ton of blogs full of great information...but sadly I cannot find many RED blogs around. Does anyone know of some good RED blogs? I found Twenty398.com but that's about it.

If you're just looking for a bunch of info on RED products, this forum is really all you need. Also, there are a bunch of great interviews on youtube (link). Sadly, I don't know of any great RED blogs.

You're looking at it. Welcome and enjoy your stay. There are a lot of very helpful folks here and more information than you'll know what to do with. This site isn't called "Red Crack" for nothing. It's terribly addictive, but in a good way.

I'll agree with Michael Dearworth - the amount of information about RED the company, RED the camera, and RED accessorie on this site is amazing.

Further, you'll find yourself in the room with really really talented people who have made themselves available on this board. The "Ask David Mullen Anything" thread comes to mind.

If the amount of information about RED and filmmaking in general on this thread were compiled, it would make for an extremely expensive book+DVD series.

EDIT: I am also looking forward to Gibby's posts about using the Epic/Scarlet in a mobile environment.

Welcome aboard Richard. Awesome ain't it?! I for one will never forget my first time with the Red One and seeing those images. Blown away. As the other guys have said, this be the place - Red crack it is.
