Hello:
We are a small group of filmmakers trying to finish our latest short horror film in time for Halloween. We are shooting on our Red Scarlet. We have a practical effect shot this weekend (Saturday) and because of our budget, we only get one shot at it so we want to cover it from as many angles as possible to be certain we get it (and some high speed). We are shooting this just north of Los Angeles in Woodland Hills.
We are hoping some of our Red Brethren will help us out for a couple hours in exchange for IMDB credit, our eternal thanks, and trade for our assistance with one of their films. We're hoping that you love filmmaking as much as we do. This is not a commercial shoot - We are just a group of filmmakers doing this for the love of the art. None of our crew are paid. We believe in the film and want to see it made as well as it possibly can be. We only need you and your camera for a couple hours this Saturday. We will feed you and you will get to meet other cool filmmakers.
If you can help us out, please get in touch. You can check out more about who we are and check out some of our other films here: www.seraphfilms.net or www.facebook.com/seraphfilms and more on this exact project here: www.indiegogo.com/halloween2012
Thanks in advance!
