Any Atomos Samurai users? Building a cage for your baby

Hello to all.

Been having some fun with a little construction project for my Atomos Samurai Pro Res digital recorder. I have the middle model with micro-mini BNC jcks for the SDI connections. Some of you out there may have the same version. These non-standard BNC's leave a lot to be desired.

Building a "cage" to give me stronger connections, better heat sinking and additional protection. Posting all the information... materials, dimensions, etc. over on the DVinfo forum for others who may want to do the same.

This is all for fun. I'm not selling anything and I will not be making these after my own is complete. Just happy to share with others. Slow right now so biding my time in my workshop is all.

But you can build one from the diagrams and what I have posted on the DV forum. Find a retired machinist fellow who would love to have a project to keep him active.
