Hey guys,

is the Anton Bauer QR-HOTSWAPGM Hot-Swap Battery Plate - for Anton Bauer Gold Mounts
work on Red or is there any other Anton Bower Gold Mount Swap available for the Red One??

In use both (Hot swap and Red Gold mount) for my Red.
The only issue I had was the thermal fuses in the Hot Swap, so I bypassed them (solder a wire across both ends of the fuse) and it was been working great since then.

I was more concern to find out if the Hot Swap powers the Red with the same cable like the one on the QR-Red?

The hot swap plate that you linked clicks into an existing AB three pin gold mount plate and turns a single into a double. It does not have its own power cable to the Red camera.

The hot swap plate draws from both batteries simultaneously, so you need to always have one battery more charged than the other. You wait for the weaker battery to run low and then you swap that one for a fully charged block.

I use that hot swap plate with this AB top handle package.
