  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Anton Bauer battery & Red Quad charger

Hi all,

I'm planning to buy Anton Bauer G190 battery for my Epic X and would like to know whether I could charge the same using Red Quad charger? And of course any opinion regarding the Anton Bauer will be appreciated.

I've been waiting for my 190's for awhile, I don't think they are shipping yet? I love my g90 gold mounts (and i like the new anton bauer charger - status works great). Is a totally different battery setup like Bob commented, (i.e. i use the anton baur gold mount plate made for the epic power connector)

You're getting the chargers mixed up. Red has a Quad Charger which is only for Redvolts. RED also makes a V-Mount Battery Charger which could very well work with Anton Bauer's new V-Lock Batteries. Pay attention to the "G" and "V" batteries from Anton Baeur. "G" means Gold Mount, and "V" means V-Lock.

If the V line of batteries do indeed work with the RED Charger, you should be looking at this one:
