Another thread that needlessly went the way of foreclosure.
Well, it is amazing that when I start a thread for serious discussion around here, nobody wants to say anything serious, except for the over serious disrupters, and when I start a light hearted amusing thread they want to get all serious (mind you the usual culprits that will come along and tell you it's not the right shade of green when you comment on the shade of purple, and that know even less about the subject than you do).
History and timeliness. Whatever we think, what is done is done, set in stone, the time for timely change has gone, the time for the future is upon us. So the time for feedbacking, whinging, whining etc is over for the moment. It is too late for cheap 4K in the next few months, unless it is already planned, despite preferences.
People have been around the development of digital cinema cameras for 7 years might have an vague idea of various aspects of the history, backing and financing of some companies, and development of some products (as well as aware of developments inside electronic products industry and being around cutting edge developments). It is advisable to do some research/remembering/estimating before needlessly calling them out and starting long mistaken debates. I should add to that, above all, it is important to understand what the other person is saying and meaning before replying to it. We don't see the other people telling you what type of film stock to use, because they don't know, yet. As incredulous as you might think something you didn't know was, the other person might also think your repeated actions are.
To challenge, does not require one to be challenging (otherwise that is what it can likely lead to).
There was another item, but I have reached the capacity of my personal memory cache of the moment.
Well happy new year to you all, and lets have a good one with a bit more understanding caring and sharing.
