Great stuff. Hope your hearing held up. It is difficult for me to explain how loud these machines can be.
I have shot close to nitro burners many times and usually end up with distortion. The red held up perfectly. Do you think the red Drive would fair as well?

I would NOT trust RED-Drives on this particular shoot. The energy from these cars rattles your teeth. A drive might have difficulty this close to the action. I could be wrong, but I'm not going to try it.

Electric cars get their energy from where? Thats right... COAL. In the US Coal is used to generate over half of the electricity we use. Its pretty safe bet that those "clean" electric cars are getting their electricity from coal. my $.02

This isn't necessary though. Solar and wind energy, plus geothermal technology and a host of other technical innovations, renders coal almost unnecessary, unless of course, you're big business with an agenda to conserve the status quo, which means making money through resource exploitation and environmental destruction. Which is why they spend beaucoup money selling you 'clean coal' and nuclear power on television. my two
btw, there's no such thing as clean coal.
