It gives me great pleasure to announce the next short film that I will be working on called 'Red Sky'. I'm the films cinematographer and the short will be directed by Mathew Bayly. Just below is a quick quote from the director on 'Red Sky'.

'Every young child has a hero, someone they look to and adore. Sebastian's is his father, but when his father starts beating his mother... Sebastian has a choice; does he stay in awe of his father? Or stand up for what is right?

Sebastian is like most 10 year olds, he likes sports, loves his parents and spends most of his time indulging in day dreams inspired by his favourite medieval stories, the only problem is... his father has a temper and when he’s angry, lashes out at his Sebastian's mother. At first, Sebastian is content with escaping into his day dreams, but as he realises his mother is slipping further and further away he decides he must take inspiration from his medieval heroes and fight the "monster" terrorising his home... even though he loves his father with all his heart.'

Of course we want to shoot the film on RED. This is a film that we really want to make but in order to make it we need to raise $8,000 (£5,000) and hope to shoot it on location in Corsham in Wiltshire, UK. This is a story that we really want to tell and think that it is an important story that should be told. Hopefully with red users help we will be able to make this film.

Looks interesting. I hope you raise money for the budget and get this done. I'm sure someone from here can help. Good luck

If you can't get a RED I'd suggest you use the 5D with a PL mount maybe for a more cinematic look.

Hey guys. I would just like to give you a quick update our funding campaign is under way and we are gearing up for the offline campaign. It would mean so much to us if you could still help out only if you are able to spare $5 / £3.20 every little bit you are able to contribute will go towards making a story that needs to be told. Thankyou
