Sensor size will screw up my lenses. It should have been either s35 or should have MFT mount. Not happy about that at all.

You can power with V Mounts too, or belt clip.

Yes you can get a sidekick.
whats a side kick? im trying to figure out the same thing but last night by the time i posted my question would be 4 pages back, im trying to understand the battery situation too. does v locl mean you can snap a battery right to it, or does taht mena you can snap a battery module right to it? if if its battery direct, is it just the bricks? trying to keep this as small as possible! and i wonder if there is a tiny thin i/o that just has hdmi out, literally all some of us need.
+1 on that, one of the most important questions for me. It has been asked a few times in this thread (and other WEAPON-related threads), but so far there is no word on this. I'm pretty sure RED knows. Is there any word on a REDVOLT accepting side handle on the way? I really would like to kit this out as close to a DSLR as possible for travel and quick/light shooting purposes. The original DSMC body came close but was just a little too big and heavy. This seems perfect - but with a large v-mount or the REDVOLT expander module on the back it can only get so small.
Here is the sidekick, it's a bit like a sidehandle, but different form and without powering solution. Basically buttons for control and a display for basic information.

And you can snap a V-Lock battery directly on the Base I/O V-Lock Expander.
No 3D Luts. Brent said no to this earlier in this thread.Does the RED Raven support 3D LUTs? If so... what kind?

I have a little Déjà-vu here, when i received my Scarlet the DSMC-SH had been delayed and i had to work without it for a while. Doable but the once the SH landed it made a huge difference. It never left my camera since then.
Late to the party. Killer question that I don't have the time to search through 50 pages for:
Is there an upgrade path from Scarlet MX? Or maybe now a new path to Epic MX?!?!? ; )
Thanks,

If you want to go small, then have a look into the REDVOLT XL module solution, a bit more expensive but a great option to keep in mind. Otherwise there are smaller 3rd-party V-Lock batteries than REDBRICKs. PAGLink makes some nice things, but there are others too. Dig into the forum, there are a few threads about this.thank you!!! yes, thats what i need, there should be a pkg with the side kick, the new i/o and a couple of batterieswhats the smallest vmount battery situation, the brick?
ok, thanks again, but if the new i/o is very slim and has a v-mount, i guess it makes sense to go with the bricks then adding a whole other monitor…If you want to go small, then have a look into the REDVOLT XL module solution, a bit more expensive but a great option to keep in mind. Thanks for the answer, not really convenient is it ? can we expect any side DSMC side handle any time soon ?
