  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Announcing RED RAVEN

I may have missed this post but, did anyone ask about demo footage or when some might be available? I know its a cut from dragon but my eyeballs are lusting. Please and thank you
 
Because of new boards, Im guessing half stop cleaner in shadows yes...

Its fixed Standard OLPF, so also guessing clean 800 iso @ 2.8...with more highlight headroom than currently getting with LLO on Epic/Scarlet Dragon.

Only caution is 4K cut of sensor is pushed in on noise, so pattern wouldnt be as fine as when shooting 5K and 6K.

Curious about this as well. We have to get redvoltxl module + belt clip v mount to use vmount minimum.
 
Sorry for newbie question. I've been looking through the all thread here but I'm not sure I understand how will I be able to power up this baby on a glidecam for example ?
My guess is the only way to power the raven currently is with a redvolt xl module, am I correct ?
 
After trying in two different countries for the last 9 hours- I am finally in. This was harder than ordering the Weapon, but I think this is going to really put RED on the map all over the place and it is a great piece of kit to loan the great young artists that I am mentoring in Cuba, Colombia and Georgia. I can even see these artists in these counties eventually affording the Raven for their own. It certainly is going to make it easier to get RED into schools all over the world.

Awesome. I just hope 6k$ won't become 9k$ down the road when it nears release... and then 12k$

You can power with V Mounts too, or belt clip.

I think that was the case for the scarlet mx no?
After 1st of january of the launch period it was more expensive.
In the case of the Raven it's different I guess, 10000$ is a psychological pricing point.
