Greetings,
Looking for any thoughts or advice into pairing Angenieux Optimo Spherical Zooms with the Ziess Compact Zooms, particularly the 70-200mm.
I'm getting ready to shoot a True Crime series on the Gemini sensor and am in need of a good set of Compact Zooms to cover a full range from wide to telephoto.
I'm leaning heavily towards the Optimo Spherical Zooms. I love the their look and feel as well as their weight and dims are very appealing for the type of shooting I'm anticipating.
My thoughts are 15-40mm for the wide end and the 28-76 for medium range.
As for the longer/ telephoto range, even though I do like the look of the 45-120, I just don't think it will give me enough on the longer end. I looked at the 25-250 Spherical style zoom, it's a beautiful lens, but what a beast.
Probably too much to deal with.
Gonna be just me a lot of times with maybe 1 or 2 assisting here and there.
So I was considering the Ziess 70-200 Compact Zoom. Love the range, weight and dims. They fit what I'm looking for.
Anyone have any experience pairing those lenses together? Any thoughts on the pairing and how they'll match up etc...
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!
