I think the only doubt could be about zooms, I mean old zooms. They could bring some problems. Especially if we intercut them with sharper lenses with better correction for aberrations. We may notice the differences also after color matching in post production, if those old big zooms are too bad (but they are a good fun).
Prime lenses... well, they all make nice pictures, unless probably the extremely old ones with bad or no coating. But hey, still many great movies were made in the old times. It's nice to use old and strange glass to make particular look today, as long as they are professional lenses, not toys. Like today's music is often made with old analog synths. I could make tomorrow an entire movie with a pretty ordinary lens, anyway. I can make a movie with a 50mm Vivitar piece of glass. On a Red camera, it would end up with better light information than all the inferior camera systems.. like any half decent reflex photo-camera produces incomparably better frames than tons of "professional" videocameras. The world is full of nice lenses. It's just a matter of slapping a compatible mount. And if it's never collimated, have an attack done which make use of a big screw.
