I am donwsizing my personal lens collection and selling a few lenses. This here is a P.Angenieux 25-250mm f3.2 t3.9 zoom cinema lens (Type 10 x 25 T2) with 35mm coverage, serial number 1368696. This lens is in Arri bayonet mount (Arri B). The lens was hand-picked by me some years ago from a lot of five lenses of this model. Never got to using it though, so it was sitting in its case all the time.
This is an used lens from the 70's with the corresponding signs of use on the barrel, most notably paint loss here and there (see pics). There are some coating marks on the front lens, nothing out of the ordinary for a lens of this age and such front element size. There is one larger dust particle inside, caught on an inner element, which can be seen when looking inside against light.
Focus and aperture are smooth. I think I sense somewhat increased resistance in the zoom range at the beginning and the end of the rotation path of the zoom.
The lens comes with a support bracket installed. There is a Chrosziel ring installed (for screwing a zoom lever, I guess). Lens hood, front and rear caps are included. There is an orange screw filter included, possibly an 85b; it has some color loss near the edges, but I am including it anyway. The lens comes with its original wooden case, which looks a bit rough on the edges.
Looking to get $1600 (paypal fees included). Located in EU, but can ship pretty much worldwide. Please ask for shipping quotes based on destination.
Questions are welcome.
