How much does this thing weigh? It looks like a nice fit for 2k. Would it be possible to provide grabs from shots at the following resolutions/focal lengths?

3k - 11.5mm
3k - 18mm
3k - 25mm
2k - 11.5mm

I'm very interested to see just how much it vignettes at 3k and whether it might be usable at focal lengths other than 11.5mm.

Thanks,
Nick

Hey Kyle,

I'm too, very interested to see just how much the lens vignettes at 3k. Could you by any chance some grabs?

All the best,

Yves Roy

Hey Kyle,

thank you very much for the reply and the effort. I am very much looking forward to the Epic 3K samples.
What is your experience with the Angenieux 11.5mm-138mm T2.3 HR? Does it really perform as well as lots of people say it does? Pro's & Con's ...

Cheers,

YR

Here is a quick and dirty test with the lens on an Epic in 3k and 3k HD If Interested. Of course the lens does cover 2k fully from 11.5mm-138mm.

Hey Kyle,

thank you for putting this up! It's very interesting to see how the Angenieux 11.5mm-138mm HR actually behaves in 3K.

Cheers,
