We just got the new version here at RED.. and mechanically, this is looking to be the first user-changeable 3rd Party Canon mount we make "Certified"

Bravo.

Still need to do the electronic tests over the next couple days.. but it's looking good.

Thank you for the good news and congratulations to Andy !

That's what he said. . .

. . . looks like Andy is going OEM.

no no no.. its the first mount we MAKE "CERTIFIED".. not Make "make"

We have nothing to do with manufacturing the mount, and we have zero financial interest in the mount.

Sorry for wording that a little funny:)

Jarred that will be great! Also for me, it just mean i could order my Red now as i will not have to replace all my lens...

You sure you don't wanna to help with the manufacturing hein?
This new mount option will be really positive for Red :))

Where can I order and approximately how long would delivery delay be if I ordered one today?

i recently spoke to andy and he has put in a big order and is just waiting to get the assembly line going. i'm more confident in andy about getting the mounts out the door. it's not an engineer delay as much as a supply and shipping timing thing. so i'd put in your order for a dumb mount and then upgrade later if you just want something to get on your red. i'm loving mine.
