Hi can someone point me in the direction of a converter showing what a spherical lens focal length is in the equivalent anamorphic?
Either an image or a chart or something would be great.

Many thanks.

If you have any iDevice, pick up Pcam. Will do that conversion for you and so much more. Best production app I own.

the number is: x2

ie if you have normal anamorphic lenses they squeeze your image on onto the sensor with a multiple of 2 that makes a 35mm anamorphic lens capture as much in horisontal as a 17,5mm spherical. a 100mm anamorphic captures as much as a 50mm spherical etc.
