Anamorphic Lenses / Anamorphique Optique + EPIC in Paris?

[Josh Mckie]

Hi there guys,

I've got a job coming up in Paris and am hoping very much to shoot Anamorphic / Epic combo.

I can't seem to find any anamorphic lenses for rental in Paris...

Does anyone out there know any owner operators with Anamorphics for rental? Or any rental houses that might carry them (other than Panavision)?

Thanks!
Josh

You have

At the north of Paris.

TSF http://www.tsf.fr/catalogue.php?A=42
Eye lite http://www.eye-lite.fr/php-fr/welcome.php
Vantage themself http://www.vantagefilm.com/en/news/news_2011-11_01.shtml

South Paris
RVZ http://www.rvz.fr/fr/catalogue?page=1&cat=caméras/optiques

None are cheap.

There are hawks C and V, kowas, looms square and round, Zeiss, and primo if you finally decide to go to panavision.
I think the widest choices would be at RVZ. They received several sets in the last 6 months. The best is vantage but you have to be recommended by someone.

I think that's it for anamorphics, if you exclude owners operator like myself who got hawks.
