So American Cinematographer have just opened a poll for Best Shot Films of 1998 - 2008.
The "best of lists" on Reduser always make for very interesting reading, so I thought I'd try and get another one going.
To kick things off, my provisional list.
In the Mood for Love (Christopher Doyle)
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (Roger Deakins)
Road to Perdition (Conrad Hall)
Russian Ark (Tilman Büttner)
Silent Light (Alexis Zabe)
The New World (Emmanuel Lubezki)
Hunger (Sean Bobbitt)
Oldboy (Chung-hoon Chung )
No Country for Old Men (Roger Deakins)
Innocence (Benoît Debie)
Luckily the poll is open until March 31st, as I know some of my choices are bound to change.
Matthew.
