Am I a total cynic for really looking forward to the VP debates this Thursday?

[Rick Darge]

I'm always up for some good television.

I hope Palin doesn't attempt to pull out like McCain tried to do last week.

[Tom Lowe]

I will have some friends over for some cold Heinekens and a few laughs...

[Andrae Palmer]

Well if the depression doesn't hit soon... I guess it will be fun TV.. in any case TV will be captivating.

[Omar Saad]

I'm with you guys. If that's not the highest rated bit of television of the week I'll be surprised. I've got to believe that the Mccain camp must be looking for some way out of this thing. Her sound bites this past week were seriously cringe inducing.

On the other hand Biden, whatever you may think of him, has a penchant for saying things that rub people the wrong way from time to time. So, for sure, it should be about the most interesting VP debate that we've seen in some time.

[Paul Hazlett]

you have to watch the SNL skt about the palin/couric interview, priceless

[Michael "Dorkman" Scott]

I watch Discovery Channel's Destroyed in Seconds and Jerry Bruckheimer movies. There's no way I'm going to miss this.

My favorite prediction so far is that the debate ends with Palin curled up in a corner while Biden dons parachute pants and dances across the stage a la MC Hammer.

[Alex Coelho]

Biden will be at a serious disadvantage with Palin's foreign policy experience. Not too many people can say "I have insight into Russia because you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska." Its scary to think she could be one step away from presidency, if elected. I may have to rethink my decision to vote for Nader.

[C.H.Haskell]

She is going to get destroyed...then again you never know. I am sure she is going to pull some fast ones. Meanwhile we will be playing a lil poker, 20 dollar buy in if anyone wants to join

[mikeburton]

She is going to get destroyed...

I wouldn't be so sure about that.

[Joel Kaye]

I wouldn't be so sure about that.

She looked like a fool next to Katie Couric. That's like having Bambi kick your butt.

I think she'd lose in a debate with Pamela Anderson.
