NAB is around the corner and we have on order a Raven, and a Woven Weapon. At one point, in a thread Jarred asked if there would be any interest in such a thing, due to so many people requesting that middle ground between the jump from Dragon to Weapon Magnesium. Before we buy a 3rd camera, I'd love to know if that's still brewing. I'd be pretty bummed if I bought a magnesium and then at Nab they announce an Aluminum Weapon.

Did the Scarlet W end up taking that spot? It is aluminum and the Weapon style body.

Jarred was referring to making the innards of the Magnesium out of aluminum and lowering the Magnesium price…which they did (by $5K). I don't think there was ever discussion about a completely separate aluminum Weapon model.

I think the scarlet will fill that gap. Might not be 6k but will fill the needs. As a Aluminum weapon that's cheaper then MG weapon will eat into MG weapon sales. You would need to criple the aluminum weapon to justify the MG pricing to the point you minus well just go scarlet.
