About a year and half ago, we co-produced a micro-budget film called ALTER EGOS - shot on RED ONE MX. The director, Jordan Galland, also directed Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead - (http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/independent/rosencrantzandguildensternareundead/) which was one of the very early features to be shot on RED ONE. (That film is also on Netflix.)
ALTER EGOS was picked up by distribution company Phase 4 - which partnered with Kevin Smith to form the brand "Kevin Smith's SModcast Pictures" - this is the first release under the SModcast Pictures label. Kevin loves the film and helped promote via Twitter, etc.
The total budget of this film was under $175,000 - original music score composed and performed by Sean Lennon - http://www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/sean-lennon-chats-about-alter-egos-soundtrack-20120110
The film is now on VOD and iTunes - I just received this update from Jordan -
"Phase 4 told me a on a call yesterday: In only two weeks, it's Phase 4's number one film right now, breaking their VOD records, and is their number 4 film for the entire year. "
It's a light, fun little movie that makes fun of the concept of superheros - check it out - I think it's a great case study for what can be done with a micro-budget and no stars. And also - a great way to support filmmakers who love RED

Think about the future possibilities with ODEMAX ...
