Brent, is there anywhere that I can find a list of changes that will be coming for the next release?

Cheers,
K

The change list is only final at the time of releasing the build.

Just now trying 262 and finding that I lose my clips if I make an adjustment to my time line scale slider. As soon as I touch it the clips vanish from the time line. The last one seems to still be there but no way to see it or adjust the slider to scale the clips in the time line window. Just opened 252 and the problem is not there. So this seems like something with the new alpha 262.
Thanks.

That has been my experience since the first Redcine-X build was released. But no comments received as to were this bug is withing the list of priority.

I have the same problem in 261. I have to restart the program to get the timeline working again.

I also have that same problem.. I try not to touch the timeline as much as possible right now.. (Build 261)

Am operating in windows and every time I try to export an Avid file it creates an error log...which says:

Required Avid plugin folder is not present
redexport: Cannot export selected format: Unable to enable Avid
redexport: failed to create export image processor.

Am running Symphony Nitris. Not sure why...instead I end up importing volumes directly into Avid which I don't like because I prefer to tweak the image in RC-X combined with the fact Avid doesn't allow you to do anything else until the renders are done.

Doesn't matter whether it's a DNxcel 36 or 175 -either way it generates this message...would love to solve this.

please email the logs to redcinex at red.com

Can you also try it on a different machine?

also yes I'm using 261 not 262 which is Mac OS.

I'm onlining 10bit HD-SDI shows through my Symphony Nitris with an Avid certified system...so I don't know why I'd have any performance issues.

Also seen this bug [and reported it] in v221. Had to stop using the software as it was too risky - even if you saved the project before moving the timeline slider, the saved version also lost all the timeline clips.
It was like having a hidden 'destroy project' button right there in the software interface.
v246 seemed to cure the problem; sad to hear it is back.
