I'm looking for an efficient, quick, easy, reliable, and quality way to attach different lenses to the Red-One. Lenses like PL Mounts, Arri's, and Nikons.

I've been checking into the Allstar A-Mount System, and it looks like exactly what I need. It's also approved by Red.

It appears that once the Nikon-F Adapters from Allstar, have been attached to the Nikon lens, it's just a matter of placing them, any PL lens, or any Arri lens with a PL adapter, into the A-Mount. Quick, easy, no hassle.

I'm interested to know if any of you Red owners have this system on your Red-One and what you think of it. Is it as good as it looks? Are there any problems?

I'm in the ordering process of purchasing a RED-One and want the best lens port adapter for it.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I dig mine. The adapter is not PL mount though, so you have to purchase the additional PL adapter... still a quick and easy change between my PL glass and my Nikon/Leica R lenses. The mounts are very secure and well crafted.

I have one and using for a long time. I have A-mount, PL mount, Contax C/Y and Nikon. You will receive every penny of you investment. Highly recommended!!

Its a great system, the best Red accesory, well made and Allstar look after you.

It makes the camera so much more flexable using PL glass where its needed and non PL glass where appropriate.

You will be well rewarded for every dollar of investment.

The mount is beautifully crafted, and works like a champ.

The best part is to be able to utlize Leica R lenses which may be the best value in prime lenses out there.

The system is awesome!
