Allan Chapman & James Insurance Brokers UK

Hey All,

Anyone had any dealings with Allan Chapman & James Insurance for their EPIC?

I am looking at using them for my EPIC insurance and wondering if anyone has had dealings, made a claim through them? Good? Bad? Indifferent? Other options?

I used AC&J for a few years but they became very expensive. I now use Black Tower and they've been EXCELLENT! Really thorough and professional in every way. You can say that Wailing Banshee Ltd recommended them too. David

ACJ are fine in my book. Handled a sizeable claim without too many headaches when we had a break-in, not too painful on renewal either. Critically from my point of view they genuinely understand the kit, and the pressures of the type of work in which its involved. (I'll be pointing them to this post and expecting a discount now though )

AC&J are excelent.... they know the kit and are always reasonable. I have looked at going with cheaper insurance companies but as with rest of life you get what you pay for.

HI Steve

Another thumbs up for ACJ. If you do decide to go with someone else/smaller etc be sure you know what you're getting (cover overnight in vehicles / percentage insurance for hirees if needed etc).

As has been mentioned you get what you pay for and ACJ cover a most of the big guys.

+1 for ACJ, we have used them for past 9 years, wouldn't go anywhere else.

I used AC&J for a few years but they became very expensive.

Ouch. I just phoned AC&J for a quote just to cover the Epic.

They came back with £848 !!!

Performance Insurance have quoted £950.

I can vouch for them, have used them for over 10 years to cover all my equipment - good service and sensible when it came to making a claim.

I use ACJ too, just got a claim going through now, so we'll see how that goes. But they have always been very efficient at setting up insurance, i point all my clients to them.
