All the Questions

I'm relatively new to RED, been an Raven owner for only about 6 months, but have followed all of RED's stuff since way back. After owning my camera for a bit there's still a few questions I have that I can't find answers to online. If anyone has any tips on one or all of these questions, please let me know!

1. Focus Peaking, is there any way to change the color of this? I haven't found a way yet, but the camera has so many features maybe it's buried somewhere? It'd be awesome to change it to a brighter color for harsh sunny days.

2. On the topic of harsh sunny days, any recommended monitor hoods for the 4.7 touch?

3. Is there any way to assign adjusting shutter speed to a custom button? Ideally I'd love to have the four buttons on my DSMC2 side handle set to, shutter speed down, shutter speed up, iso down and iso up. I've figured out the ISO part, but the shutter speed I can't seem to find but maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing. I find that shutter speed is the main thing I'm constantly touching my screen for, and while that's fast it could be faster.

4. Variable ND. The one thing I miss is being able to work super fast with ND's. I don't want to be swapping out filters ever. I looked into the kipper tie ones but that still would be too slow. I stumbled upon this Tiffen Rota ND Filter & Mattebox Kit from B&H. Is this my best bet for changing ND as quickly as say a C100?

5. I import my footage straight into Premiere. Am I missing anything crucial by not going through Red Cine X?

1. There is no color option. I use edge focus myself.
2. I have the 7.0" LCD and use the Grid 7.0 Loup and Hoodman. I think they were looking at making a smaller a Grid for the 4.7.
5. The only way to get IPP2 debayer today is RCX. Once they put IPP2 in the SDK, and Adobe updates, no reason to use RCX.

3. I think it's called "integration time" or something like that. But the option is definitely there.

4. Most Rota-Pola's degrade the image to a fairly significant degree so I would avoid if possible and stick with a single strength of regular ND, and changing aperture to compensate when needed. Btw the cleanest, but most expensive, option in the RED ecosystem is the Motion Mount. But as a Raven owner it's unfortunately not an option.

5. RCX is good for batch metadata changes, or for quick viewing of files. But you aren't really missing anything if you just jump into premiere.
