When I was in the states shooting the model said she was Rooting for me... :)... stopped me in my tracks, but then pulled aside and explained that she was cheering or supporting me for the rest of the shoots success. :) You gotta love the modern word.

Just curious, do they sell root beer in Australia?

At the risk of derailing the thread...

When I was working in the US for a while, I was writing with a pencil, and asked the girl next to me for a rubber.

She thought that was rude of me :-)

I had the same feeling with playback as well.. There is something so frigging satisfying about know you can play what you just shot back..

And all of the little other things!! Even the fonts nicer and smoother!

It's quite a build..

The even cooler thing is the fact this was done with a firmware update! Imagine all of the other goodies locked inside this baby..

Again - not to derail Mr Toia's thread :) but...

Ass and Fanny... there's a good one for US vs UK differences, ass means the same - but fanny doesn't!

I was shooting a bunch of models in London in the 90s and they were all completely naked. It involved them standing around for long periods of time so they would sit on the concrete floor just to take a break. when they stood up their butts were all red from the cold. I told the director in front of all of the models their fannies were all turning red. Caused quite a stir amongst the models. What do I know I'm from Ohio...

Hi Everyone. First time face to face with an Epic X this morning. Just upgraded firmware to 1.7.10.
No seeing any indication on how to do playback. Using 128GB SSD cards. Can someone spell it out for me?

Exactly... I'm sure the models were shocked at first - LOL!

On touch screen, it's the little circle on the upper left corner. From side handle, it is in settings menu.

Bob,

You only get playback on the alpha firmwares of 2.xx and above. Go to the support>downloads page.

More derailing here. When I was in Australia I once said after a big meal that "I was stuffed" got some funny looks.

Back on subject: Play back is awesome, but it took me awhile to find the little "next frame/previous frame" button.

PLAYBACK REQUEST :)

Since Im having so much fun with it.... It rocks, love it...

two small requests, if I may.

1. A Favourite take or best take button. TAG.. so when we go to media scroll we can find it quickly.

2. Quick play last clip playback button when using the grip and EVF. Allocated to 1234 buttons on top of grip. (touch screen is quick enough)

Other than that... I'm truly happy!
