Been following RED since '07, but never made any posts. Figured I'd do that today. Anyway...
Not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but I just saw the BTS for the new Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull video, "On the Floor" (directed by Taj Stansberry), and I noticed that they were using both Alexa and RED One together! Any thoughts? Can you guys see a difference? I don't see a whole lot. It seems like the Alexa handles tungsten better and has slightly more latitude on the dancefloor shots, but I can't say the same about the solo performance shots on Alexa. This suggests that the overexposure and color on the RED shots could be attributed mostly to user error. Honestly, I haven't been too impressed with the music videos I've seen shot on Alexa lately.
