  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Alex Becomes Robin - Make-A-Wish Piece

Chris - you guys sure made a big splash in San Francisco with this project!

Terry: I didn't put that video together...the one that myself and several other RU's were involved with is in the original (1st) post. I was saying that the Make-A-Wish chapter up in San Francisco copied us. Hehe

Yeah - I am a little confused, I think, but hell of an effort and a great thing to do. Hats off to you and everyone involved. You should be proud.

Haha...yea. I know MAW up in San Fran called the MAW chapter down here to find out how the entire day was accomplished. I think the video we did gave the San Fran team inspiration, or at least I would like to think so. :-)

The video is playing tomorrow at the Anaheim City Council meeting in front of A LOT of upper level executives. Thanks again for all the volunteers from RedUser who helped make this possible. Couldn't have done it without you.

By a route which references the San Francisco MAW Batkid wish fulfilment event, the media here in Oz have picked up on a Queensland MAW fulfilment in which our QANTAS airline has become involved. Your original video coverage may have started something along the lines of greater public awareness which is for the good. ------------- http://today.ninemsn.com.au/videoindex.aspx?uuid=3251954808001 ----------------

It was definitely an amazing experience that all those who were involved will never forget. If it by chance helped to start a chain reaction, that's awesome!! :-) Thanks Robert!

Alex just underwent his final chemotherapy procedure! He's doing incredibly well! Thanks again for all those who helped make this short possible!

On a side note, don't know if those of you who were involved with this gig with me saw this: http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/wb/batkidbegins/
