  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ive received quite a few of these but never clicked the link. Rule #1- never click the link sent by a stranger. Rule #2- never click a link sent by a stranger. Rule #3 Never enter your user name a password unless you are 1000% certain you are on the correct website.

Yes, I did see some posts about it in that thread a couple of days ago.

There is a "report" feature that works with any post or private message. It is bottom left under the username. a red button that says "REPORT".

If you use that in the future, it will notify all moderators so that we can act quickly.
 
At the moment in Australia there is a phone call going around telling you they are the ATO (Australian taxation office) and you are being investigated for tax avoidance and a warrant out for your arrest etc unless you fix the outstanding amount of $550 (or whatever it is) right away.
I am sure plenty of unsuspecting older people will fall victim.

I actually called the number and threatened the guy on the phone (hoping it was actually a scam ha ha and not the ATO) and he told me in a strange accent to f@#k off!

I hope these kinds of dishonest people have something shit on them eventually because it seems only innocent people trying to do the right thing get screwed over in one way or another these days.
