Hello everybody,

I am working as a sound mixer , and I need some converter for my analog NTSC/PAL LG 7 inch monitor. I was wondering if I could use AJA D4E to receive signal from RED or ALEXA camera ? THis converter is the inexpensive one and if it works I will go for it. If not , please any suggestions .

Best regards

That's a negative. This will only convert SD-SDI to composite while the Alexa and Red will only output HD-SDI.

The Redbyte Decimator, AJA HD series and newer Blackmagic converters might be better suited for what you want to do.

This is a real name forum though. Please contact a moderator and get your name changed for your full name.

Hi Alexis,
Thank you for the answer , this is what I didn't know , and I will go for Redbyte Decimator 2.
