It doesn't matter what manufacturer you choose.
your bricks have to be under 100w/hour and hand carried if they are lithium.
there are some more details to it. Take a look at:

Swit batteries are not good batteries, I don't care what any one else says.
Airline approved batteries I have been carrying for the past year all over the World in large quantities ON Board as Carry ON have been:
BLUESHAPE BV100: http://www.blueshape.net/batterypacks_bv100.asp?lng=
BEBOB ROUGE V90RM : http://www.bebob-rouge.com/index.php?product=8761
I have carried as many as 4 each, 8 total, never a single problem with any Airline, this batteries have never let me down, the Swit on the other hand... Well Never again.
Does anyone know how long these will last on a scarlet?

If I just want a single battery V mount (I want to keep my rig lightweight is their a single one? Can it plug directly into the epic or does epic use a special cable?
Will this charger work with the above batteries? I see they have a quad charger, but it's too big for my needs.

Pricing in $?
IDX Endura Elite...hands down best battery. $3800 for Red Package; includes 4 batts, 4 position SIMULTANEOUS charger + IDX battery Plate for Red (does not include cable but available from ET for either Red One, Epic or Scarlet
Switronix also makes a direct to epic/scarlet plate as well as both 195watt hour as well as 95 watt hour v brick which is under the TSA limit and is still three times the power of a redvolt.

Does anyone know if Swit and Switronix are related or are they completely separate entities and product lines?
There is also a new V-mount battery design from PAG which is stackable. I have not used it but understand it to be well made. They can charge stackable as well, which is an intriguing concept.
I agree. They also have smart mode so Red sees the battery status.
