  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

AHHH Please release 1:2.40 in camera!

Would that actually be a possibility?

We are starting with our feature on Wednesday and I'd love to use that feature! :)

please either this or adjustable matte opacity! I am really confused by the lines only since I always frame too tight!

OH PLEASE!! :)

I think 4.5k wide is in the works. Maybe next build? That'd be awesome.

We have a lot of handheld and I'd like to use the EVF and that can't be taped...

Yeah I've read that it's in the works, and it seems to be harder than they thought that's why it wasn't released yet I guess...

Hope next build is coming soon!!

You can put your custom line's 2.40:1 in your EVF!! See manual!!

yes, but I am talking about the area outside the lines... I'd like it to be very dark or even blacked out...

If you are saying what I think you are saying then I second that as a feature request.

The area outside the set frame guides (be it 1.78:1, 1.85:1, or 2.40:1) should be 50% or 80%, or whatever, greyed out.

It would make it easier to see the shot within the frame.

I have attached the best shot I could find to illustrate this, note the area outside the 2.40 frame guide is darker.

exactly, i've been requesting this as well. to be honest, I would probably prefer this feature to 4.5k 2.40 right now, since true 2.40 adds extra steps in post since most stuff is presented on a HDtv or 16x9 projector.

Please implement this feature! :)
