I need to alter a few things in a shot done with our Red-One in 4K, using Adobe After Effects, version 6.5.
When I go to drag the Red file into After Effects, it keeps saying "Does not recognize file type".
Is that something wrong with the program, or do I need to change the Red 4K file in some way so After Effects will accept it? If so, how, and into what ?
After it is altered in After Effects, I will later have to put it into CS5 for final editing.
BTW - I am using a Windows7 PC.
Thanks.
PS - It looks like I may need After Effects CS4 or CS5 for R3D support. That is probably where the problem lies.
