Yeah i did. CS4 and everything updated. RED ADOBE CS4 INSTALLER (BETA) reinstalled.
still the same.
maybe i need to do an uninstall first, but am not sure how to do that either.

Several of our Macs have been getting this error lately as well. We've just been ignoring it until we have time to track down the cause.

After some reading I managed to fix the small issue by uninstalling the plugin REDSettingsPal.aex from Applications/adobe after effecs cs4/plugins/format.
That solved it on the mac
