Here's my 2019 nature showreel. Shot in Botswana (Nxia Pan, Kubu Island, Moremi Game Reserve), South Africa (Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park), and Madagascar (Masoala, Ranomafana and Andasibe-Mantadia National Parks and the Palmarium). Subtitled with common names of animals. Shot on Red DSMC2 Magnesium in 6K. Mostly using a Sigma 300-800mm, but also some Canon 100mm L macro, Canon 100-400 II, and Canon 24mm.

I think perhaps it is a bit long, and the music is pretty cheesy. Comments and criticism are welcome.

Well that was a real treat to watch! Outstanding footage. Tack-sharp and great exposures. My only comment is you should turn off all the stuff from Vimeo in your settings dialogue. It covers up your great footage and detracts from it.

Very well done.

Very nice.It was easy watching until the end so it means it is really well done.

Thank you Mark! I'm too cheap to pay for Vimeo Pro (although I will have to soon as I am running out of space) so I can't customise the viewer at the moment :-)

Nice work. Did you mostly shoot at dawn and dusk for soft light?

Thank you Tom. I do try to shoot as much as possible at dawn and dusk, but often it is not possible. Especially in the national parks where you have to be in camp just after sunset and can only leave around sunrise. Nothing sucks more than having to leave a great sighting just as the light gets good because you are an hour away from camp. I'll be shooting quite a bit in Botswana next year, and I'm hoping to get a permit that allows me to stay out at night, which will make a huge difference.

Not long enough - couldn't stop watching! Very well done. The music was perfect for me at the beginning, a little heavy for my taste later on but music is always so subjective. The visuals are spectacular, thanks for the treat.

Thank you very much Dipanka. What do you think of the second version I posted with a shorter, more melancholic song?

Very Nice! Well done! Loved the Leopards.
