Hi all. . .

Is there any way to get AES digital audio into a Scarlet without using a PRO I/O module? Like maybe some 3rd party option?

I'm concerned about the fan noise from the Pro I/O module, but really want to get digital audio into the camera.

Thanks.

Stephen

Something really great about the Pro I/O is that it can sample-rate-convert 96K digital audio into 48K. This is actually a big deal for me because in my recording studio, all the digital audio is 96K, yet I can still get a digital feed for the camera that works perfectly up in my 48K video world.

Aside from the PRO I/O there is no other option to get AES into a EPIC/Scarlet. However, you could uses a external recorder to record from AES and feed the camera with a line-out to have a scratch/backup/synch-track.
