I have a lot of Green Screen clips in FCP Timeline(40+). I would like to get them to AE and each clip in it's own comp. I tried the FCPtoAE Script but all clips go to in 1 comp. Does anyone know method ?
Using 4K R3D files
Thanks
Ron

Not altogether sure what you're trying to do...
You could try rebuilding camera proxies to fix the green frames with clipfinder. Are you trying to get them into AE to figure out the green frames or for some other purpose?

No not green frames. Actors shot on green screen I want to use AE to Key on each clip and not have all the clips in the same comp.
Thanks

But if they are shot in the same Greenscreen setup why would you want to put them into different comps. Or what benefit do you expect of having 40plus Comps. I can't see any. Please explain. But I found that the route you used is the best for free way to communicate between FCP and AE. The other ways would be Automatic duck or Boris software...

Hi,
They have different lighting, some with markers, different angles, some shadows, some no shadows, different backplates. Also the post house wants each shot separate.
Thanks
Ron

Get the clips in using FCPtoAE. Open the composition where you see all your clips. Click on a clip in the timeline choose layer - precompose. Name the new comp, check open new comp and move all attributes. Then you nested your cut clip in a new composition. Voilà.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
