I have a timeline of RED footage and it all works fine. When I open up the RedCineX plug in window and make any changes the whole thing crashes. The preview window goes black, the thumbnails in the Project window go black, and they don't come back. Non-RED footage works fine within the same timeline, no RED footage works. AE CC 2014 and Premiere Pro CC 2015 work fine. I updated to the newest release of AE today and the problem is still there. So it existed in the past two releases (but not always, it just cropped up for me this week). Anyone else experiencing this? I'm currently trying to rush an edit out and this couldn't have come at a worse time. Contacted Adobe but wanted to check here and see if there were a more immediate workaround. As of now, I need to go way back in the pipeline to finish the edit and that....well that sucks.
