Advice please what lens can be good for Epic for cinema making for arround 3-4K? Is it possible?
May be RED 18-50 for 2500 USD, or only RED 17-50 for 6K?

think about Canon zooms.. 24-70mm and a 70-200mm f2.8

Assuming Cannon mount...

lots of test shown on this forum.

I've seen some Angenieux 20-120 zooms go for around $4000 in the equipment for hire section. It's not going to be as sharp or distortion-free as a modern lens, but it's very versitile for the price and reasonably fast. If image quality is more important to you than proper cinema mechanics, then I'd go with Christopher's suggestion and look at Canon lenses.

Thank you!
Tell me please if the choice between
1. New Canon 24-70 II (it is around 3K because 2K for the lense and 700 USD for alluminium Canon mount)
2. RED 17-50 (used for around 5K)
3. New Tamron 24-70 (around 3K)
4. Set of 3 Zeisse Distagon and Planar (25,50,85)

Thank you

You can get the Aluminium version RED Canon EF mount for $700.
