Advice on Lighting purchase.

For daylight lighting look into Plasma lights http://hivelighting.com
More efficient than HMI, better spectrum and longer lasting bulb.

I like the Hives. No flickering even on a phantom.

For me the jokers color rendition was not reliable. and the construction isnt as refined as Arri's
But i do use a Joleko a lot for accent lighting.

The Jab hurricane is also a cool LED unit.
Unless i need the power like a 6k 12k, 18k, i prefer LED over HMI on smaller units for flicker and control.
Always love tungsten tho.

Ben - aputure is Bowens mount, fresnel I linked is Bowens mount unless someone sent you the wrong mount...

And it doens't work. True, it is a Bowens mount but they built it with a neck that is too short to fit in the 120t. I have to hold it on the light with gaffer tape.
If anyone have found a fresnel that works with the 120t, i'd appreciate it if they share where they found it.

Exactly what Raymond says...

The lens is bowens mount but the neck of the lens stops the tags on the mount being able to click into place.

Ah well. Will have to see what I can DIY with it. Although I like the idea of the Bowens spot attachment for gobos and focusing.

if you zoom the fresnel away from the lamp body it might find clearance ?

It's just can't beat the price with that quality.
