Adobe / RED Webcast next Thursday morning
We are going to do a Webcast with our friends at Adobe on Thursday Feb. 23rd at 10am Pac time
(I think they call these things "Webinars" but I hate that word and refuse to use it - so I'm going with WebCast
Wes is a workflow expert that works for Adobe, and is also an EPIC owner and shooter. He's going to drive the session, screen sharing his computer and showing a lot of the ways that RED and Adobe work together so logically and simply for post production of RED ONE, EPIC and Scarlet footage.
We also shot a little intro video showing some of the simple steps for stills with Rick from Adobe, another super expert on Photoshop and Lightroom, to set the stage for the Webcast next week - here's the registration page:

Should be fun and interesting. For anyone that's heard that post production steps are difficult and time consuming on the RED, I would say this is a must watch to show how that is not the case at all, and that there is still a lot of mis-information out there, that when you actually see it in action, you see how fast, easy and logical post is for RED.
Many in the REDuser world of course know this, since they work in post with RED footage all day long with ease. But you may be surprised (or maybe you wouldn't be) on how many Producers, and Post Production Supervisors have heard things, and haven't taken the time to explore and learn what's true and what's very old info, or just bad info.
This is just one of the many steps we are taking to clear those mis-conceptions up.
Hope you can join us!
