I just upgraded my Mac to OSX 10.11 and all of my Premiere projects new and old are doing something funky. When I pause the timeline to footage has these dotted blue lines running vertically down the screen and all the footage blocky even the Adobe Illustrator AI Files too. However when I play the timeline the footage plays fine. So this issue is only when I pause/stop the playhead. Then when I export the footage these blue lines and blocky look is still their. I tried opening old projects that I've completed and they look the same too blocky with blue vertical lines. The only thing I've done new is install Mac OSX 10.11 any advice?

This has been noted over on the Adobe forums. News stories today suggest that Adobe will be releasing updated Creative Cloud functionality this week to coincide with a conference they're running. One common suggestion I've seen is to switch over from GPU to software rendering. I cannot imagine saying that with a straight face, so I won't. I sincerely hope the Premiere team gets their act together soon. The features that CC 2015 offer do make it a best-in-class offering, but the bugs are such that I'll be starting my next project in Resolve or FCPX if they don't get them fixed in the next four weeks.

Adobe is still far behind in memory management on OSX especially Open CL. Cuda has been less problematic since Nvidia handles their driver for OSX.

I doubt they can fix the bugs. If they could have, they would have already. It's like a fast rocket, your taking a risk for the speed to enter space.

I've been hoping Adobe would get their act together for a long long time now.
