Working with RED footage in the latest Premiere Pro (13.0.1). 2 mono audio channels. When I reopen the project, audio on the timeline reverts to channel 2 audio on BOTH tracks. I can cut the audio back into the timeline but when I save and close, the audio goes right back to Ch2 on 2 tracks and no Ch1 anywhere to be found.

I have done ALL the things - cleared cache in the program as well as manually, restarted both project and computer, made a new timeline / project, wiped out the program preferences, etc....

Does anyone have any insight and/or a solution?

Try to update. I think 13.0.2 is the newest version.

I noticed this as well with both 13.0.1 and 13.0.2. What worked for me is to select all offending clips in your timeline, right click on one of the selected clips and choose Audio Channels from the dropdown. Then check channel 1 under media source channel. One cycle of this will fix a batch at once.

Now if I could figure out a way for Premiere to stop crashing every few minutes...
