  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Adobe on Mavericks

I just saw this and thought of you guys. I expect you have seen it, but just in case: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/mac-os-mavericks-compatability.html

And just so you're aware these patches aren't actually working. Some people are suggesting that changes to your language preferences in system settings solves the problem (doesn't for me), some are saying completely wiping your system and starting from scratch solves it. None of these have worked for me. AE and PP both crash before opening (CS6 and CC) and A LOT of other people seem to be having the same problem.

I'd recommend not upgrading for now.

Anyone who has installed Mavericks and CC/CS6 who doesn't want to wipe their system can also try this:
I just removed Red Giant's Quicklooks plugin and the issue seems to be solved. Might not solve all instances, but it works for me. (I know of another person who had to remove Colorista II as well... I didn't need to.)

A bit unstable for me, but that might be the cheap usb3 drives i'm working off of with my MBPR.

We did find a few late issues. Our October release has those fixes. That release is going live right now

Cheers

Dave
