Adobe + Epic Sneak!!!!

Like Tom Lowe said.... Adobe is Gangster!

Hi Red Fans!

We have Epic support working in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder.

David, it's so good to see you guys ahead of the curve on this. As a long-time Adobe fan I'm delighted. With the stills capability of Epic, I have to ask if there's R3D support in the works for Lightroom and Photoshop?

Thats just rocking. LOVING IT David. Adobe are on the ball...the ball of fire!

Great news, but not surprising. Adobe continues to exceed my expectations every year. Having used the Adobe Suite for over 5 years now, I just love both the support and functionality of the system. Thanks for the sneak peak David, this is exciting news being a future Epic-S owner.

Does everyone grasp the hugeness of the term "Rocket support" here? friggin awesome

just in case you didn't know. We shipped rocket support for ppro and ae last summer.

Cheers

Dave

Oh that's great, I didn't realize that was already in place.

David do you guys have you theatre schedule for NAB yet or will it not be available until the first day of the conference?

I don't think we announced it yet, but we will be out in force...

Cheers

Dave

Will Adobe natively support 3D in Premiere Pro and AE this year
since many users will be using stereo Epic and Scarlet configurations?

This is really great news. I've lately been considering other options than RED due to the added complications in the editing process, but this announcement has put the Scarlet firmly back on my radar. I'm a CS4 Master Collection user and a huge fan of Adobe products, and this streamlining of the RED workflow is a leap above the rest once again. It's great to see Adobe being ahead of the curve.
