  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey-

I don't have my camera with me now to check, but with the new sensor selection and advanced/edit capabilities of resolution choice, is it possible to come up with a custom pixel aspect? to be specific, i would like to record only the pixel aspect ratio for a de-squeezed 16x9 x2 anamorphic image; so instead of the 6:5 5k 3240x2700 I would like to only record a 2400x2700 r3d. is this possible/is my math correct? (3240x2700 - 4800x2700 = 1680/2 = 840 3240x2700 - 840x0 = 2400x2700 (pre squeeze 26x9 5k pixel aspect)

thanks!

I can't do a totally custom exact pixel width for anamorphic, but it has a ton of presets that get you close to what your saying. I do a small reframe in post.
