  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My wife accused me for being more anxious and enthusiastic about the RED then when we had a baby (he is 2.5 now).
It took 9 months for my baby boy to come to papa...:)

QC issues. Seems my Red 138 was boxed and ready for the fedex truck. Then got yanked to be lubed, tested and repacked soon hopefully. I still have faith.

I'm totally confused by this thread. The first post seems to say my camera #1150 will ship in February. I heard on another post that #600 was just shipping. which by that chart should have shipped before the first of the year. Is there a current shipping chart anywhere????
 
#600 .. for a sec there you gave me hope and this over joy of excitement. i just looked at that thread... 700 by may.

so like.. i might be getting mine in june.. july..

do you know how it feels like.. when you're watching stuff from redlab.. macrgregor's stuff.. and then all of a sudden you feel that red aint coming any sooner. all of a sudden. it eats you alive.

everytime we open or dl some red footage.. there's this holistic experience that draws out. and you watch it. the next second you see .. o its 707 in june or july.. when you were expecting it in december last month. that is another half a year. jon's post kinda freaked me out.

is Jon for real? 500-600 by feb.
march.. april.. may.. will only have 100 delivered?

Yes, 700 per month by May. Akube, I think you can expect your #707 next month sometime. :) (assuming no more production delays)

Hi Akube,

700 by May means they'll be delivering 700 cameras during the month of May, not cameras in the 700s !!!

Red announced 400 deliveries in January, I take that to include #100-300 already delivered and #300-500 just announced. They then plan to deliver 500 to 600 cameras during the month of February, that means you're in there!

ahhhhhhhhhhhh.... my heart started beating again. 700 a month never crossed my mind... shoot... Seven-Hundred cameras delivered A MONTH.. Freggin WOW!

hey buddy you should visit us at the berlinale in feb.. I'll be hanging around the Abu Dhabi Film Fund & the Abu Dhabi Film Comission since im on the board of members. I'll be there for 2 days only.. gotta run back and deal with our upcoming efc film fest.
